Your Right to be Forgotten
Adhikam allows you to request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time, either directly within the mobile application or via email request.
Option 1: Request Deletion In-App (Recommended)
You can initiate instant deletion of your account directly within the Adhikam app:
- Open the Adhikam Consumer App on your device.
- Tap on your Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
- Scroll down to Account Settings and select "Delete My Account".
- Confirm your request by verifying the one-time password (OTP) sent to your registered WhatsApp number.
- Your account will be immediately deactivated and scheduled for complete erasure.
Option 2: Request Deletion via Email / Web
If you have already uninstalled the application or cannot access your phone, you can submit a deletion request to our privacy team:
- Send an email to support@adhikam.in with the subject line

- Include the following details in your message:

- Your registered name (as displayed in your profile)
- Our support team will verify your identity via a brief WhatsApp confirmation or call.
- Once verified, your account and associated personal data will be permanently wiped within 7 business days, and you will receive a confirmation receipt.
What Data is Permanently Deleted?
Upon processing your deletion request, the following information is permanently removed from our active databases:
- Your phone number and authentication credentials.
- Your profile name, email, and personal contact details.
- All saved delivery addresses and GPS coordinate markers.
- Device push notification tokens and session history.
- Saved shopping carts and favorites list.
What Data is Retained & Why?
In accordance with Indian tax laws and financial regulations (GST / Income Tax Act), we are legally required to retain anonymized billing transaction records (such as tax invoices, transaction amounts, and payment gateway references) for statutory accounting purposes. This financial record is decoupled from your profile and retained strictly for legal compliance periods.
