2. Information We Collect

To provide our hyperlocal grocery delivery service, we collect the following categories of information:

A. Personal Information You Provide to Us

• Phone Number: Used as your primary account identifier and to send one-time verification passwords (OTPs) via WhatsApp for secure, password-less login.
• Name & Profile Details: Used to personalize your account and address your deliveries.
• Delivery Addresses: Street address, landmarks, apartment/house number, and pincode (e.g., Guntakal 515801, 515802, 515803) required for order delivery.
• Customer Communications: Details you provide when contacting our customer support team regarding inquiries or order assistance.

B. Location Data (Permissions)

• Precise and Approximate Location: With your permission, we access your device's location to auto-detect your delivery address, check if your location is within our 25-minute delivery radius, and connect you to the nearest local grocery fulfillment hub.
• Rider Location Data (For Delivery Partners): For our registered delivery partners using the Rider App, we collect background and foreground location data to calculate delivery routes, estimate arrival times, and provide real-time order tracking to the customer until the delivery is marked completed.

C. Order & Transaction Information

• Order History: Items purchased, order amounts, timestamps, and delivery records.
• Payment Information: Online payments are processed through trusted and secure third-party payment gateways (Razorpay). Adhikam does not store your credit card numbers, debit card PINs, or net banking passwords on its servers.

D. Device & Technical Information

• Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, IP address, and application crash reports to ensure app stability and prevent fraud.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following specific purposes:

• Razorpay: Secure payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant).
• WhatsApp Business API (Meta / WATI): Sending transactional verification OTPs and order status messages.
• Google Maps API: Address search, geocoding, and delivery route mapping.
• Firebase / Railway: Cloud database and secure server hosting infrastructure.

5. Data Retention & Storage

We retain your personal information only for as long as your account remains active or as required to fulfill order histories, comply with statutory tax/financial accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. When data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymized.

6. Your Rights & Account Deletion

Under applicable data privacy laws, you have full control over your personal data:

• Access & Update: You can view and edit your profile, saved addresses, and contact info directly in the Adhikam app.
• Revoke Permissions: You can disable location or notification permissions anytime through your device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for adult consumers capable of entering into binding contracts. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 years of age. If we learn that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

8. Security of Your Information

We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures—including TLS/HTTPS encryption in transit and AES encryption at rest—to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
